Mayor Will Wynn and other city leaders
take part in preventive screening
Austin, TX (February 18, 2008) - Austin’s Mayor Will Wynn and City Council Member Laura Morrison are bringing awareness to American Heart Month by taking part in HealthYes!'s preventive screenings at City Hall on Friday, February 20from 11 A.M.-noon.

Preventative wellness and healthy lifestyle choices are essential to maintain one’s health," said Mayor Will Wynn, City of Austin. Wynn and Morrison will take part in a HealthYes!™ screening for heart disease, abdominal aortic aneurysm, peripheral artery disease and osteoporosis at Austin City Hall. Wynn will also present a proclamation in honor of "American Heart Month".
