Quality
It is of the utmost importance to provide preventive screenings of the highest quality and level of service. We establish and monitor quality in a variety of ways.
We employ skilled sonographers who have completed the formal training necessary to perform ultrasound studies in a clinical environment and have completed rounds in hospitals or other clinical environments. Many of our preventive screening technicians have decades of experience.
We contract local, board-certified physicians including radiologists, cardiologists, and vascular specialists to review your results.
Our preventive screening machinery calibrates automatically throughout the day to ensure accurate findings.
Upon identifying a significant risk or immediately life-threatening condition at a screening event, we immediately have another, on-site technician verify the initial finding.
We periodically have testing results and physicians findings reevaluated by third-party, board-certified physician to measure performance and accuracy.
We encourage our clients to participate in surveys to gauge the overall quality of their experience.
As with any non-invasive imaging technology, we will have some level of false positives. This is inevitable, whether we perform your test or it is performed in a hospital or other clinical environment. Our goal is to adhere to, or out-perform, industry standards when it comes to false positives. More importantly, we are focused on eliminating false negatives. Non-invasive studies that correlate with the gold standard (fully invasive diagnostic studies, requiring time at a hospital) 90% or more of the time are considered excellent.
Security and Privacy:
The security and privacy of your preventive screening results and personal information is of the utmost importance. All information is kept on secure servers with limited employee access on a strict need-to-know basis. We do not sell any personal information, nor do we release your screening results to anyone unless instructed by you to do so, or as is required by a court of law.
If you have any questions or comments about our service, please contact us. We value your input, as we are consistently striving to provide the best possible service to our clients.
